She also has experience in corporate wellness training and coaching. Diane is most passionate about providing quality educational trainings to professionals. Overview
Assessment in clinical practice is an ongoing process, and thorough assessment of clients is a necessary part of good practice. Attend this workshop to enhance your knowledge and skill in administering key assessment tools in various areas of practice. The assessment topics will include suicide, trauma, grief, substance use, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. Attention will be given to discussing why assessment is important, sample assessment tools and what information is crucial for clinicians to obtain.

By Attending Our Workshop, You Will Be Able To:

  • Describe the purpose and value of assessments in clinical practice.
  • Examine key assessment tools and administration in six key areas of mental health.
  • Identify methods of assessment administration and provide a rationale for use of assessments in ongoing clinical practice.
  • Restate key aspects from suicide, mood disorder, anxiety, and depression assessments.
  • Identify additional key aspects from substance abuse assessments.
